About me

I am a passionate and dedicated music therapist working across the South West. I specialise in Palliative Care, Autism, Special Educational Needs, PMLD, Dementia and Substance Misuse. I run both 1:1 and group sessions; these can include family sessions and sibling support through diagnosis to bereavement. Sessions can include songwriting, improvisation, or sometimes simply talking.

My main instruments are guitar and voice but I also play the piano and flute.

Contact
Prior to beginning music therapy with Mae, I did struggle with self-esteem, depression and anxiety.  Mae has helped me overcome these challenges that held me back from living my best life possible.  We uncovered many suppressed childhood traumas and many other past life events that led me to drink in the first place. These techniques helped me practice which included writing small lyrics to song about my addiction. I am so grateful to Mae with how she has taught me empowerment, resiliency and self-compassion. I would highly recommend anyone to Mae if you were looking for a kind hearted therapist that will value you for being the real you.

- Suzanne, 2021.
